United Way has a histo- ry of community collabo- ration and convening abil- ity to bring together gov- ernment, private, non- profit, labour and volun- teers to mobilize community change. By working alongside community partners, United Way is able to un- derstand root causes, thus leading the way to devel- oping strategies to address them by bringing together the right resources to get the job done and measure results. United Way Halton & Hamilton funds nine pro- grams dedicated to provid- ing access to healthy food for families and residentsfor families and residentsf of all ages.
