In the chapel of St. Giles United Church on May 9th, Lois Berniece, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Rahn, was united in marriage to Lorne Everett Harris, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Harris of Caledonia. Dr. C. Elliott officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of white slipper satin and nylon net. Her fingertip veil of nylon tulle was gathered to a Juliet cap of satin trimmed with bugle beads and seed pearls. She carried a white orchid. Miss Dorothy Stuart, as maid of honour, was gowned in shrimp taffeta under turquoise and shrimp nylon net. She carried a bouquet of pink and mauve carnations. Both dresses were made by the bride's grandmother. Mr. Wilfred Young attended the groom as best man.

A reception followed at El Rancho Casa Blanca. Receiving were the bride's mother, wearing gray with navy accessories, and the groom's mother, wearing navy with pink accessories. For travelling the bride wore a navy suit with red accessories.

After a honeymoon trip to the United States, the couple will reside in Hamilton.
