Abram, Gloria M. (Died)
- Full Text
It is with great sadness that the family of Gloria Abram announce her passing on July 23, 2019 at the age of 93. Mom was predeceased by an infant son, William, her husband George (1997), and daughter Gail Moffatt (2018). Her surviving children, Bob Abram (Karen) and Susan Hart (Doug) gave her six grand children and seven great grandchildren who she loved dearly. Mom met our dad George when she was 16 and always referred to him as the best there was, 'the marrying kind'. They enjoyed dancing with family and friends well into their 60s. Mom had a successful and rewarding career in order to earn a bit of extra money so that they could afford family vacations. She had a sharp mind right to the end. To her friends at Oxford Gardens, she was known as Lucy's mom. We loved her sense of humour and will smile whenever we think of her. She had a 'great life'; her parting words.
We invite friends to join us to celebrate Gloria's life on Sunday July 28th 2019 from 2 until 4 in the West Wing recreation room at Oxford Gardens. If desired, contributions to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated, and may be arranged through the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME, Woodstock (519-539-0004). Personal condolences may be sent to www.brockandvisser.com
