Death. Ferguson-At Walkerton on the 10th. inst, John Ferguson, aged 55 years. - Mr. John Ferguson. Who for some time past has lived at Walkerton, Died on Monday morning last, aged 55 years. He was a brother of Mr. Joseph Ferguson, J.P. North Brant, and of the Rev. Father Ferguson of Sandwich College, The funeral on Wednesday, was largely attended. Mr. Ferguson suffered for many years from an injury to his leg in early youth, and bore his trials with the fortitude of a martyr. He leaves to his family the memory of a blameless life and spotless character. He was a man of high intelligence, philosophical temperament and extensive knowledge. It was one of the pleasures of life to enjoy his friendship, and to those who were thus privilege, his loss will long be felt. Our sympathies are extended to the family in their hour of distress.
