Early Closing. Fenelon Falls, 28th June, 1880. We, the undersigned traders of this village, do hereby promise and agree one with the other that we will close our respective places of business at 8 p.m., with a time of grace from that hour till dark, but not to light up. This arrangement to begin on Monday next, say 5th July, and continue to the middle of September, Saturday nights excepted. Also this movement to be advertised in this week's Gazette.
