It would in every way be most inconvevient tohim to undeistake the duties He could not do so without prejudice to: his own inâ€" terest. _ He;:could not attend every meeting of this Council, as he ought to do, without a great personal sacrifice, and if heâ€"allowed his election to take place he felt that he would have to make that sacrifice in mdiu every meeting of this Council.
