Miss Jean Roberts delighted all with her rendition of ‘‘My Ain Folk,‘"‘ while the solo by Mr. Street was anâ€" other pleasing feature of the musical programme. ‘Mr. C. MeCarthy‘s huâ€" morous Habitant,readings were very cleverly and effectively given and kept the crowd busy laughing throughout. A monologue by Mrs. Keane was also a very effective number and much apâ€" preciated. Miss Fearn MceCarthy ’plnyed the accompaniment for this pleasing musical monologue. A duet by Misses Ruby and Fearn McCarthy was heartily encored, the response beâ€" ing equally pleasing ana appreciated. After the programme there came anâ€" Other genuine treatâ€"the Bean Supâ€" per. This feature like all the other featur»s of the evening was much enâ€" joyed by all, and evidenced the high standards set in all iines by the ladies of the Rebekahs.¢The delightful evenâ€" ing was concluded with a dance, Mr. ‘‘Scotty‘‘ Wilson providing the muâ€" sic for this other attractive feature of an allâ€"round pleasant evening. _ â€"~ Thursday evening last in the 1.0.0. F. Hall the Gold Nugget Lodge of the Rebekahs had a very enjoyable and interesting social evening, the ‘‘Ad Home‘‘ being a great success in every way. There were fourteen tables at euchre and this part of the evening was much enjoyed. Mrs. A. J. Shepâ€" pard won the first prize for ladies and Mr. J. Gurnell for the gentlemen.
