Consequently Christ- mas for the post offiees and the other postal employees is not altogether the i ous time that poets tell about. ilgt hours and extra work do not make for joy and Christmas cheerful- ness, no matter hm" happy you may be in your work. Of course, there willl be an extra chance for making mis, takes around Christmas time with its special rush of work. Employees work ing too long and too hard are always more liable to make errors than when eopditidns are normal. It is just here that the general pubic may help to its own advantage. All the delays or mis- deliveries of letters or parcels are not due to the fault of the postal author-1 ities. A recent circular issued by the' Post Offiee Department says that fre- quently the delay or misdelivery is due to the carelessness of the public in failing to properly address the mail matter in question. Much trouble is due to careless writing, to the use of pencils in writing, addresses, and to failure to give the Ipropcr street ad- dress, or keeping mailing lists up to date. The circular suggests that with the Christmas season at hand, bring- ing 'nmense quantities of wail to be dealt with it will be necessary that the public adopt more careful methods in the preparation of its mail matter or the average of misdirected mail wiil assume very great proportions. I feel and people say, I look 30 years younger. I had been suffering from a run-down condition, nervousness, loss of strength, poor appetite and thinness; today I feel hungry, sleep well, nervousness has disappeared and hard work never ’Uothers me. Redmac was a God-send to me. The reason REDMAC brings such wonderful results is be‘ause it feeds run-down glands the cause of many run-down conditions, by supplying them with the ex- tracts of Certain Herbs and Roots and Tropieal plants, the glands are made strong and hsyalthy---juist like re-elurrgiug a storage battery. That last suggestion is perhaps worth of special note. "Shop early!" has been a slogan around Christmas time for many years past. Its observance has been a great help to the employees of stores, etc., during the general Christ- (mas rush. "Shop early!" is also mighty good advice in regard to send- ing letters and parcels by mail. Bet- ter a day or two too soon than to wait until the very last minute to add to the rush and Worry. SUDBURY TICKLED RED OVER GETTING “HOCKEY POX" M'ho is the happy warrior? Why, The Sudbury Star! Sudbury has secured the famous Dr. "Jerry" Laihamme as coach for the "Wolves." In its issue of Wednes- day of last week, The Sudbury Star fiayir.- V “The best news that has come to the hockey fans of Sudbury and dis- trict in many a day is the announce- ment that Dr. W. J. Ladamme, of To-) ronto, is to locate in Sudbury and will, in all probability, coach the se- nior hockey team this winter. Dr. Ladamme has closed negotiations to practice dentistry with Dr. E. A. Hill. Some weeks ago he was in Sudbury and made preliminary arrangements, but it was only Monday of this week that he sent wo,rd that he had made up his mind to make the jump north. No definite arrangements have yet been made regarding his connection with hockey, but when he washere on his last visit he expressed himself las quite willing to give the Wolves the benefit of his ability and experience. "It is generally conceded that no better or brainier hockey player has ever been turned out of Toronto or any other town than "Jerry" Lafiarn- me. As a inlaver he made fame for me.
