The old build ing which now stands upon the lot, a building larger than that of the old structure and thoroughly upâ€"toâ€"date in every manner. The old building has been remodeled and redecorated throughout to conform with the new structure. The building now proâ€" vides separate portions for the boys and girls with light airy rooms, white iron beds and every convenience of a modern Shelter. The building conâ€" tains three .fireplacesâ€"one in the Matron‘s reception room and one in both the girls and boys _ rooms. These add much to the homeâ€"like apâ€" pearance of the Shelter. / The official opening of the enlarged building took place yesterday afternoon and evenâ€" ing and large crowds took advantage of the opportunity thus afforded to inspect the building. Everyone exâ€" pressed delight with the beautiful ap pearance, the upâ€"toâ€"date equipment, the many conveniences for both children and matron, and the neat homey appearance which was preâ€" sented to them.
