Con- trar yto expectations, the extra note would not consist ora number of stripsrthree-quarters of an inch wide pasted together, which would at once excite suspicion but would be made up of not more than two or three pices by the process of moving the cut across the face of the 'bill, leaving a larger right-hand segment each time.
