Rosethorn Gusts Barrie With Support From Fans A week ago in Barrie before a large home crowd, Barrie went down to a stunning defeat by the score of 34 to 3. it was felt by the coaching staff that the large contingent of Etobicoke fans that went to Ban ne contributed greatly to their wm. Andy LeMay, Etobicoke’s lead- off man had a great night after opemng the ball game with a triple. The last scormg that Barrie dad was in the bottom of the 5th, when they scored 2 on two hits and an error. The Barrie boys were quite shaky in this game and commit- ted many an error to keep their pitchers in hot water all night. Barrie used three pitchers in trying to stem the flood of hits that Etobicoke were getting but to no avail. Etobicoke are fortunate in than they have so many good hittersl and each game they appear toi have new heroes of the mght.)
