The boys were accompanied by their leader, Mr. D. Geburt and his new assistant, Mr. Jack Humâ€" phrey, also Mr. T. Lemche and Mr. B. Hubbard. The slept in tents and did their cooking on open fires. Everyone took part in the activities which included tobogganing and pioneering. On February 22ndâ€"Thinking Dayâ€"Scouts, Cubs, Guides and Brownies attended Mass and reâ€" ceived Holy Communion, in memory of Lord Badenâ€"Powell and for world friendship. In the evening a programme was arâ€" ranged by the Guides and Brownies in the church hall of the 332nd . Company. Leaders and many parents â€" attended. Brownies recited a poem for Thinking Dayâ€"telling of the founders and the Brownies. There was also a flyingâ€"up cereâ€" mony when Ann Marie LeBlanc, Jill Pesce, Mary Ann Stewart and Julia Bergin flew up into Guides. Mary Jane Wilson and Bernadine Vandervoort walked into Guides. Following the dinner a Jamâ€" boree fifm was shown. Bill Thornton, Bill Dolman and Jack Smith. He was assisted by Asst. D.C. Woolley and Scouter Chris Percy. The tables had been very tastefully decorated by members of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Scout colours and vases of daffodils. Services were held in various parts to celeâ€" brate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the late Lord Badenâ€" Powell, and the 50th anniversary of Scouting. The auditorium was filled to capacity for this event. The Ojibway districg held a Scouts‘ Own at Downsview United church auditorium on Sunday afternoon. This included local Guides and Brownies as well as Cubs and Scouts. Others taking part were: Pravers, Cliff Bridgewater, 4th Downsview; Bible reading, Gorâ€" don Wells, 3rd Downsview; Inâ€" troduction of guests, Ray Roughâ€" ley Ist Beverley Hills Troop; Responsive reading.
