CH. 1â€"4761 â€" REVERSE CHARGES U RGENT This week we are pleased to anâ€" nounce a brand new decoration on that blank wall which faced the main entrance to our school. Out of deference and as a signal tribute to Mr. Buss, the principal of our school, The T. Eaton Co., sent some workers along last Friday and they placed the most lovely addition to the already attractive Hall. The decoration is a picture portraying the Family Life of our present Queen Elizabeth II, _ The picture is draped with the Union Jack on one side and the Canadian Ensign on the other side. The flags are rayon silk. The school wishes to express their sincere appreciaâ€" tion to the T. Eaton Company of Toronto for the lovely gift. Proud of Principal We are very proud of our Princiâ€" pal who not only takes great inâ€" terest in the school and his pupils, teachers in the classroom, and looks after all the office work, but we have learned is secretary of the Curriculum Research Comâ€" mittee, a member of The Science Curriculum â€" Committee, and is chairman of The Teachers‘ Qualiâ€" fication Committee in this area. The parents might be interested ‘to know how we prepare this column in the newspaper which we young Canadian of Pelmo Park School trust you read as eagerly as the Sports and Fomic Pages? Anyway, on Monday morning the Editorial Stdff meets with the Counselling Teachers and any maâ€" terial we think might be of interâ€" est, we discuss. Then we go around to each class room and reâ€" ceive anz contributions the classes may hate for our Column. The writeâ€"up is gone over carefully for composition, spelling and grammar purposes. If there are any misâ€" takes, these are carefully correctâ€" ed, sent back to the writers and reâ€"written. So you see, Parentâ€" Readers, this is a very well planâ€" ned column and as the time passes we trust you will find we are imâ€" proving in all our efforts which we wish you to be proud in us, Picture of Queen Hall, sponsored by the Friendship circle. The proceeds will go toâ€" wards the building fund (when it officially gets started) of the Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church.
