As those that were there know, we had all those people that had performed during the course of the year, do an encore. Bruce Ruggles and his jokes; the trio, including Barry Penhale, Bruce Ruggles and Larry Clark, who sang "Jealous . . . /' oops, I mean "Uprosy," started off the evening after devotions. Then there was Ralph Draper, who gave us all a nice thought to keep in mind, to help make life a little happier. Barry Penhale also sang two songs, "Until" and "Agiut." A small orchestra graced our pres- ence and each one played a. solo. They were Ray Santin and his sax, Doug Jennett and his trombone, and Denny Berni, the maestro of the accordian. Thanks a lot fel- lows for coming down again. A classical touch was added by Julie Rankin and her brother Garry. All in all, it was a very musical even- ing, broken only by Johnny Thorn- ton, excuse men, Dr. John.Thorn- ton, and Bones Murray and his antics (of course that was musical with Lorne Aisbitt's singing). I really think that there should have been a talent scout present to sur- vey the cream of the crop. For the coming year, Miss Claire Cole, who has gained her experi- ence in the advertising business, will be Writing the article for the paper. Let’s let her start off right now.
