The game was very close and until the end the outcome was doubtful. Port Credit lost to Etobocike 28 to 25. The senior game was played a few minutes after the junior and was re fereed by Grant Brown of York Memâ€" orial and Jack Roberts who graduâ€" ated from Etobicoke last year. The game was a little smoother than the first, as might be expected. In this game as in the first, many baskets were lost through carelessness . The score at the emf of_ half time was 23 to 5 in favor of Etobicoke. In the second half Weston scored 11 points to Etobicoke‘s 8. The final score was 31 to 16 in favor of Etoâ€" bicoke. For Weston the star was Mells, and for Etobicoke, Manuel and Bennet had the crowd cheering. On Wednesday, March the twelfth, Brampton juniors played Port Credit juniors and Brampton got the victory meeting the first week in April, at which the features will be moving |pictures and an address by a prominâ€" ‘ent official of the Fish and Game Deâ€" | partment at Queen‘s Park. Near the end of the second period Weston warmed up and scored four points to close the scoring. The final score was 16 to 4 in favor of Etobicoke. Emerson Allen scored ten points out of sixteen for his team. On Monday evening the Young Peoâ€" ple met and the girls of the United Y.P.S. provided the porgram, the feaâ€" ture of which was a (debate, "Reâ€" solved that One Should Marry for Love, not for Money." The affirmaâ€" tive was taken by Mrs. Alvin Wood and the negative by Agnes McCallum. The decision was left to the meeting and no one would take a stand for in the first half and although Weston had several chances they failed to score. The half ended with a score of seven to nothing for Etobicoke. We regret to hear of the illness of Mrs. Wm. Stewart, who is confined to Peel Memorial Hospital. She is proâ€" gressing favorably.
