Every care was taken by our Board of Education to See that the money was handled. juâ€" diciously, As a result there has been formed from the public schools a high school, that every one may well be proud to attend, and a brilliant class of pupils. These have been carefully prepared to carry on their successful training by the excellent staff of teachâ€" ‘ ers. _And as a result of the excellent training that these students have teâ€" ceived we have a splendid list of sucâ€" cessful candidates: who wrote on the recent examinations. The following puâ€" pils succeeded in passing on the subâ€" jects in which they wrote. This report contains the results of 22 Upper School candidates, five Midâ€" dle School candidates who wrote on the Upper School Composition and Literaâ€" ture, and two candidates who wrote at Weston High School but were not preâ€" pared there. 1 4 j Splendid Showing Shown by Our | Pupils in the Recent J Examinations _ Well may we feel proud of our s{aff at the High School, and also the pupils. In the recent examinations they have stood out equal to the best in the pro vince. In the Upper School results, twentyâ€"seven pupils wrote. lf;finetcen received the complete pass in the subâ€" jects they wrote, and four failed in one subject. There were only two bad failâ€" ures in the whole set. This speaks volumes for the work that has been acâ€" complished by the staff and for the bright intelligence of the 1923 class of pupils. ‘ WESTOHIGH SCHOOL _ â€"LPPER SCH.
