Stop ' losing this valuable time. Save your strength. Instal a Toronto Windmill and see how quickly it will pay for itself. You know from laborious experience that you spend at least an average of one hour a day in pumping water for use about your farm. The five minutes you take to open a savings account may be the turning point in your career. It has been for many others. When you wish to deposit more money, and it is not convenient to do so personally you can send it in by a member of your family, or a neighbor, along with your pass book. You can open a savings account in The Bank of Nova Scotia with a small deposit. All you need do is to bring your money to the teller and sign your name on a card. The ledger-keeper then gives you a pass book, which is your receipt. It takes less than five minutes. Main St. A. E. MELLISH WESTON Manager OF CANAM LIMITED NT WESTON Ill M 9. S., for the Maritime Pro- vinces, at Quebec city for Quebec Province, and at Toronto, for Western Ontario; Ottawa serves for Eastern Ontario, Winnipeg for Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and Calgary for Alberta and British Columbia. N ', While the free privilege is open to all the vitality of seed can be readily ascertained by farmers and others by planting a hundred or two hundred grain in a flower pot or box of soil, which is kept moist, but not wet, and the pot or box placed in a sunny win- dow, but not subjected to either ex- cessive heat or cold. Farmers and seed merchants will be gratified to hear that the Dominion Minister of. Agriculture, Hon. Mr. R. Motherwell, has determined to restore the privilege of having seed tested at the government laboratories free of charge to the extent of ten samples from each applicant. This free privilege, covers or period extending from the first day of May in one year to the last day of January in the suc- ceeding year. Durin the months of February, March Jef April, a fee of fifty cents for each test will continue to be made owing to the congestion that usually occurs at that period due to the testing' of trade samples, and samples submitted by seed inspectors under the Seed Control Act. _ TIMES AND GUIDE An Important Privilege Restored by the Dominion Minister of Agriculture This can be avoided by stimulating the kidneys to increased action, and because of its tonic effect on these' organs any one would do well to get Dr. Pieree's Anuric Tablets which are to be had nowadays at almost any drug store or send 10c to Dr. Pierce's Laboratory in Bridgeburg.
