Miss Clara, Barnes,' sister of the bride, attended as brides- maid, gowned in pale pink crepe de chine and carried a. shower bouquet of oink carnations. The interesting feature of the programme will be a debate “Resolved that old time is pre- ferrable to the new time." The affir- mative is to be taken by Mrs. George Farr and. Birdie Plunkett. The roll call to be answered by witticisms. A. cordial invitation is extended to all the ladies. Note the change in the date from the regular meeting, this being made owing to the South York Sunday School annual Convention be- ing held at Unionville on Wednesday, Feb. 18th, and Thursday, Feb. 19th. One of the most entertaining even- ings of the season was run off at the rink last Wednesday night when Nots man A. Faulkner put on an exhibition ot skating. Boyish in his appearance, one could scarcely realize a War scar- ed veteran of 1917, coupled with this his pleasing personality and enthusi- asah made tor him many friends. Skating as he did on the one foot drew many commentsalso made many realize that the fact that often what we deem the impossible can be acéom- plished and done well too by persevet"- ance The Riehview Woman's Institute will meet at the home of Mrs. John Hutchison on Friday, Feb. 13th.
