Ching, the largest neutral nation,‘ is strainâ€" ing every effort commercially, politiâ€" cally and educationally to benefit by this war, which is being carried on between the Christian nations of the world. She has secured a great deal of the manufacturing trade and she ~will hold it after the war is over., It is up to the Christian nations to show her they are fighting for higher ideails than commerce, power or greater terâ€" ritory. Each one of us must do his er her share in this. No mah liveth to himself. We are a unit of the ’Whol/e. If we are going to give them ©Christianity we must first live it at home.. The next ten or twenty years will be the opportune time for the sowing of the seed, if we are to reap a bountiful harvest. Dr. Long tenâ€" dered a vote of thanks to Mr. Little for his interesting and instructive adâ€" dress and the evening was brought to a close with an instrumental selection by Mrs. Ackrow.
