Weston swimmers led the way in the Borough of York‘s second annual swim meet held at Centennial Pool last Saturday. The swimmers, under the guidance of pool supervisor, instructor and coach Paula Thomson, won 22 of the meet‘s 29 events to gather a total of 273 points. Vaughan _ Road placed second with a 223 point total. Runnymede and George Harvey were third and fourth with 119 and 33 points respectively. Lynn Mugford, Elaine Armstrong, Kim Dodman and Larry Lapointe all captured individual awards in junior, intermediate and senior girls and senior and Royal Life for boys at the meet.
