The standings ended the same as | last season, but the big surprise | was the strong improvement by the Rexdale Plaza boys in the" last few games. These boys, held pointless aH‘ season, beat Littons two goals| to none and tied Cribâ€"Diaper in | a scoreless game to take three points in their last two games. Many of the boys are in the nineâ€" and 10â€"yearâ€"old group and never played before this season. They were held together by Coach Jeff Hunt, who must take credit for the team‘s improveâ€" ment and their fine sportsmanâ€" ship and team spirit, despite the dismal season. On their return in early August the teams will complete those games which were postponed due to rain. As we have said before, this compact little team from Malton will go places next year, and Coach Treloar is to be congratulated for bringing them along so well so soon.
