To set your toes a tapping there was the Royal Regiment of Canada Band, the North Toronto Collegiate band, 48th Highlanders, DeLaSalle Bugle "Corp band, Malvern Collegiate band, The Pipe and Drum {of the Metropolitan Police band, the Pipe and Drum of the Toronto Scottish, the Michael Power Drum Corp band, the Military Band of the Queen's Own Rifles, and just before Santa Claus, another 48th Highlander's band. In between there were lovely floats of nursery characters enjoyed by all. St. Bernard; is having a Christmas bazaar on November 23, which is this Saturday, and everyone is invited. There will be all kinds of gifts on display to purchase, and a cup of tea to refresh you when you get tired. Mollie and Keith now live at 74 St. Brendan St., Sudbury, and they are well settled in their cosy smaller home. The 15th Anniversary of St. Davids was honored to have Rev. R.E. McLennan, ector of St. Hilary, icoksville at their 10 am. rvice on Nov. 17. The church was filled with old and new members, and Mr. McLennan preached a very wonderful sermon. Metro would like to see the day nursery expanded to take in more than the maximum 30 children currently accommodated. It should also have self-contained feeding facilities, says Metro welfare commissioner John Anderson. The day nursery is located in a building in a borough park. Mr. Anderson has proposed that Metro negotiate with North York for additional land space for the nursery in order to provide adequate playground space.
