There is a lovely provincial park on the island, and if the weather had permitted we would have spent a few hours there as it was so peaceful, by the water. However we did have a fine time visiting with our children and grandâ€" children at their home in Harrietsâ€" field, a suburb of Halifax. While there we had a tour of the Indian ship Brahmaputra, this warship was in Halifax harbor for two days before going to Expo 67. We were intrigued by the fact that the ship‘s officers wore white turbans and veils over their beards. We arrived back home last week having had 10 auys of rain out of 14 days holiday.
