The Waterloo Chronicle ‘Team of the Week is the Minor Bantam Triple "A" Waterâ€" luo Wolves, The Wolves recently won the Gold Puck Tournament in Waterloo and, in their first tourney of the season, they seized silver at the Ottawa Sting hockey tourney in Ottawa. In a thrilling final in Ortawa, the Wolves lost 3â€"2 to Glouchester. The Wolves started the tournament strong pasting Orangeville 9â€"2, but came out on the short end of a 6â€"2 score to Nepean in their second game. The Wolves faced a mustâ€"win situation in their last roundâ€" robin game, and came up huge win over Rideau. 7â€"2, to advance to the semifinals against the host Ottawa Sting. The Wolves skated to an impressive 8â€"1 victory to advance to the championship game. Mike Halmo led all Wolves goalscorers with seven goals, followed by Mike Latta with with four. Scott Nagy, Justin Roeder, Craig informatqn THE CITY OF Eby and Chad Lowry had three goals each in the tournament, while Jon Jutzi and Kyle Wilhlem each had two. Todd Martin closed out the scoring parade with one. Latta led the way in assists with nine, folâ€" lowed by Martin with five, Craig Eby and Mike Halmo with four each. Scott Nagy, Jon Jutzi and Justin Roeder had three each, with Corey Way, Josh Herd, Colton Wofeâ€" Sabo, Chad Lowry and Josh Zehr each chipping in with two helpers apiece.
