The eight team tournaâ€" ment featured teams from Niagara to Toronto at Bechtel Park. The Midget Warriors Midget Warriors win tournament The Waterloo Chronicle Team of the Week is the Waterloo Tigers Senior Rookie baseball team. The Tigers are undefeated this season, with a tie as the only blemish on their otherwise perfect record. The Tigers continued that strong play at the Oakridge tournament held in London last week. There were 14 teams in the tournament split in four divisions. The Senior Rookie Tigers took top spot in an exciting final against the Windsor Expos, outlasting the Expos 16â€"14. It was the TEAM OFTHE WEEK beat Niagara District, Missisâ€" sauga and Toronto District to reach the finals. They then beat Hamilton to set up a finals rematch against the Toronto team. They beat Toronto 6â€"2 to take the tournament title. The Warriors were led by the strong pitching of Matt Hawes, Scott Findlay, Jason Sorbara, Jeff Maeck, Mike Andrulis, Danielle Furino toughest competition the Tigers had faced all year.
