Continued from page 20 Warriors looking for a title this time This time it‘s different. The Warriors know what it takes to win gold and have every intention of bringing a championship back from Newfoundland. "Right from the start it‘s been marked on everyâ€" body‘s calendar that this is what we‘re working for," said Way. "The kids have been so focused and have done everything they‘ve needed to get there again." "It‘s been a real commitâ€" ment on the kids part," said Way. "But it‘s something they decided to do two years ago after the last experience." The team went to the last nationals with no expectaâ€" tions and ended up bringing home the silver. And they did it it style, getting a measure of revenge against the Scarâ€" borough team that haunted them at the last nationals. The Warriors were undeâ€" feated and faced Scarborâ€" ough twice beating them both times to qualify for a trip to "The Rock." "We beat them 2â€"1 in extra innings in the first game," said Way. "Then we beat them 2â€"0 to go 5â€"0 in the tournament. "I think we are the first team in Waterloo to win the eliminations outright." . So how did they do it again when other teams struggle to stay together during the tumultuous teenage years?
