Waterloo public library launches ‘Circle of Friends‘ fundraising campaign r I Te Waterloo public library has launched its annual fundraising campaign with a $6,000 kickâ€" start from the Kiwanis Club of Kitchenerâ€"Waterloo. The library introduced its new "Circle of Friends®" camâ€" paign last week to raise money for family literacy, reading programs for chilâ€" dren at risk, and to build betâ€" ter library collections. The campaign received an immediate infusion of cash from the Kiwanis Club of Kitchenerâ€"Waterlo0, which contributed $6,000 for the purchase of books which WPL will take into homes and dayâ€"care centres in Waterloo. The library will offer the outreach service in partnerâ€" ship with Region of Waterloo Home Child Care. WPL chief librarian Cathy Matyas was delighted by the Kiwanis‘ lead donation.
