I like Waterioo because it is where I live. There are a lot of places here that are fun like Sports World. The Waterioo Complex has a huge swimming pool. There is a water slide and two medium diving boards and two high diving boards. There is a big hot tub. Then there is Waterioo Park. There are two bail diamonds and two playgrounds. There are lots of ducks. There is a booth with candy, chocolate bars, pop, popsicles and ice cream. There used to be a swimming pool but they put in a wading pool instead. There is Waterioo Public Library with a lot of books. There is an aduit‘s section and a children‘s section. There is mini goif that is called Shot in the Dark that has eighteen holes. Here in Waterioo, there is a mail named Conestoga Mail. There are lots of stores in it.. Wï¬bbhhflnhb&.b&y“h’d sell things at the stockyards. There are also two universities. One is called Wilfrid Laurier and the other one is called the University of Waterloo. Welcome et bienvenue to you all, Ladies of the Hearts: So you‘re ready to swing, dance and "skip", eh?! Our city will offer you fun right on the "button". There‘s no risk of being a "hog" once you start browsing through the visiâ€" tor brochures. Some residents say it is the extra leg room at the Centre in the Square and the struggleâ€"toâ€"catchâ€"yourâ€"breath exhibits at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery that make this area the gem for culture. Some say shopping for that perfect Mennonite folk art omament along King Street and finishing the evening with some comâ€"pahâ€" pahs in a beer hall is how to shake the old "hack" loose. Some of my family‘s most favorite visits are our Thursday morning trips to the Waterico Market Stockyards. For the best fun, talk to any of our resiâ€" dents. On a brisk Sunday moming, you can witness the Mennonite buggies on the country reads. it is a spectacular view of a moment from the past. Another mustâ€"see is our farmer‘s markets in the _ countryside at the end of Weber Street. This is one of the most exciting features in Waterloo County. Colorful booths are brimming with fruits and vegetables, crafts and pottery. When you are hungry and too tired to cook for your children, you could always count on 4 McDonald‘s. If you want to have pepperoni and cheese for dinner, you can order pizza at Pizza â€" Hut or Little Caesar‘s or Pizza Pizza. You can bay food at Dutch Boy. You may not know where all the tun places are. I will tell you about some of them. If you enjoy skiing in the winter time, I know of a good place for you. It‘s called Chicopee. If you love to shop, you can go to Fairview Park Mail. There is another place called Conestoga Mall. I hope you love shopping as much as I do. If you want to have fun for the whole family, there is a place for you. it‘s called Sports World. it‘s open all season. There are lots of fun things to do for a kid. There are many places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stop wasting time cooking and save time for fun. Places to eat include Swiss Chalet, Wendy‘s, Red Lobster, Pizza Hut or McDonald‘s. There are many interesting sights to see in our big city. There are famous universities in Waterioo. On your way there, you might see Mennonites in their bugâ€" The place where you are going to watch or play curling is a new | like Waterioo because it is the city | was born in. it is a very nice city. My favorite place in Waterico is the Recreâ€" ation Complex. I go there every day because l play hockey on the Waterioo Major Novice A Wikdcats. | have two brothers that play hockey too so | go to watch them. | like the Recreation Complex because the swimming pool is really fun. The food is good, it is a very nice place and | like to play hockey on the rink. 1 also like Waterloo Park. I like to feed the ducks and look at the animals. in the summer, I play basebail there.
