Concert to benefit Waterloo Region Food Bank it may not be Waterico‘s answer to Live Aid, but the sentiments are similar. As is the good intent. And thanks to the efforts of three local bands,:the Food Bank of Waterloo Region will be able to help feed a few more needy families this Two Kitchenerâ€"Waterlooâ€"based bands, War Wagon and Napoleon Blowâ€" naparte, and Guelphâ€"based Billyâ€"butt are pooling their talents to hold a fundraising concert for the local food bank, ‘Saturâ€" day, Dec. 14 at the Husther Hotel in By Deborah Crandall The ideg for the fundraiser originated last summer with the members of War Wagon. But organizational problems put the project on hold. Waterloo Aid Kâ€"W folkâ€"rockers, War Wagon, headline this Saturday‘s fundraising concert for Food Bank of Watertoo Region. Also performing, Napoleon Blownaparte and Billyâ€" thought we don‘t have a lot of money ourseives to contribute to the cause, but what we thought we could do was put a show together .‘ After recruiting the sponsorship of local independent radio stations CKMS CFRU, and CKWR, the project began to roll.
