This show is entirely student directed, performed and administered. Jason Wiersma, the show‘s director, is heavily involved in school activities and you might recognize him from his appearance as "Danny" in this past fall‘s production of Grease. When first organizing the show he stated that he wanted something new and innovative for the production this year, and we believe that he has accomplished this with flair. The show will be hosted by our Rotary Exchange student from South Africa, Nikki Krowitz, a thespian and former KCI student Alex Lofthouse, and a homeâ€"grown Blueâ€" valian, Kristen Duncan. As Nikki says in her introduction ‘"all the hours of gruelly rehearsals have all come together, so please join us as we enact our theme â€" United We Stand â€" Together We Rock! The time has finally arrived for the students of Bluevale Collegiate to put on its annual production of Many Moods of Music. This show has received rave reviews in the past and we promise that this year‘s show will also be immensely successful. It is no secret that the students of Bluevale are talented in both athletics and drama, and Many Moods of Music showcases yet another aspect of their talents. The title "Many Moods of Music‘ speaks for itself with numbers ranging from pop songs by Wilsonâ€" Phillips and Cher, to a classical violin and grand piano rendition of "Hungarian Dance." For the heavier rock fans we have two Metallica numbers, and not to leave anyone out, we even have a high energy Rap group. From ‘goâ€"go‘ girls to those crazy teachers, we have somethinng to suit the tastes of young and old! Just a few reminders to those of you who do "dine" outside: that many Vikings recognized and acknowledged the talents of our student body. Once again, kudos to all involved in the production of the show. Also, the Environment Group would like to thank all students and staff at WCI who demonstrated Congratulations and accolades to all cast and crew of WCI‘s musical, Anything Goes.
