House league tournament The Waterloo Minor Girls Softâ€" ball Association will be holding its annual ‘Final Days‘ house league playoffs Friday and Saturâ€" day June 23â€"24 at Hillside Park and University Heights. _ _ The playoffs open at 6:30 on the Friday and continue from 94 the following day. Teams in all diviâ€" sions will play their semiâ€"finals and final games. s Mite, squirt and novice final games are scheduled for Hillside at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively. Other teams inâ€" l\;o}red are in junior and senior Tâ€" all. ‘Cats off their game In the event of rainouts, the tournament would continue on Sunday, June 25. Maybe they just needed a hiaâ€" tus from winning. _ â€" Whatever the reason, the Wa:â€" terloo minor mosquito Wildcats lost for the first time in two years when they dropped a 6â€"3 decision to the Kitchener Mustangs. _ If that wasn‘t enough, the ‘Cats went on to the Woodbridge tourâ€" nament where they lost all three games â€" 5â€"1 to Peterborough, 7â€"1 to Woodbridge and 42 to Vaughan. Ranil Jayasundera scored twice to provide some good moments in the loss to Kitchener. Doug Finaâ€" more also scored. Adrian O‘Connor had three goals at the Woodbridge tournaâ€" ment and placed a good crossover that led to a goal for Jayasundâ€" era. Alan Colquohoun played a strong game at centre half. Or perhaps the loss of centre halfback Jeff Kuchma to a broken wrist was too much. Advertising can , save, shopping time.
