WINDSHIELDS Roman Hatashita of the Kâ€"W Asahi Judo Club won the gold medal in the â€"71kg senior men‘s division at the Canadian National Judo Championships in Vancouver. The 23â€"yearâ€"old Waterloo native won all five of his matches. He was also presented with his third degree black belt during the closing ceremonies. Hatashita started tramlnx in judo at the age of 11.
