Murderers should be locked up forever When the death penalty was in effect and was imposed on a convicted murderer it not only set an example to other wouldâ€" be murderers but it removed such a person from our Society forever and gave the public some sense of security. Since the death penalty has been abolâ€" ished the murderer has nothing to lose. They can rape, rob, torture and murder; the only penalty that can be imposed on them is a ‘life sentence‘ â€" 25 years â€" with new publications which may take some time infiltrating our library systems. Victoria Principal, Linda Evans, Raquel Welish and Jane Fonda are just a few of the bodies with faces stacked at the front of the bookstores encouraging us to buy, or at the very least peek through. This I don‘t think this is due to a decreased response to fitness. In fact the fitness section of most bookstores has more than doubled in the past few years. I do think, however, that with people incorporating fitness into their lifestyles, some of the fitness fad books are no longer necessary . As well, there are so many health and fitness professionals writing so many books that we can find almost everything we need in our libraries. However there are a few books which would still be good gifts. particularly the year, however, these books are on the back shelves among all the other books by notâ€"soâ€"famous people. Books are always great gifts for Christâ€" mas. All the classics, the Canadiana collections and the children‘s books are greatly reduced in a bid for our Christâ€" mas dollars. So far this year, I have noticed fitness books are missing from this publicity . C e 4: P ‘ 3 l0 s , > w «:i'ab wl ~â€" ’ ; A e > : : | ;3{ i > .. B ' _ & e Soap e olgg . c # S ~ poue E> ® 7 J E $ A. That is far too many to be classified as an isolated case. It‘s time some positive action was taken to change the penal system. When a person commits murder they automatically give up their civil rights. Where is our protection from these murderers? Thoughts locked up in your own mind give no profit or pleasure to others; you need to use the right currency in words if you are going to bring your thoughts into circulation. What counts is simply this: to say what you mean with precision and accuracy in plain language. A true definition of style is "proper words in proper places with the thoughts in proper order."
