Local musician Victor Sawa and the Kammermusik ensemâ€" ble will be featured in a special concert at the St. Lawrence Cenâ€" tre in Toronto, Saturday, Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. The program is sponsored by The Nikka Times, the largest Japanese newspaper to be pubâ€" lished in Canada and it will present a unique opportunity to MPM Productions will host its second annual proceeds for Charity rockâ€"party at Bingeman Park Nov. 27. The bands slated are The Little Martha Band, Electric Factory and Dark Out. They will be performing a variety of classical rock music ranging from David Wilcox, Grateful Dead and many others. Headlining will be The Review, a power band made up of all three bands. Kristy Knight from Q107 will emcee the event. MPM Productions has organized this event for the King Centre‘s Angel Tree. The Angel Tree, distributes gifts to the community‘s needy children during the CHRISTMAS season. Sawa is well known as an outstanding clarinetist and perâ€" forms locally with the Kitchenerâ€" Waterloo Symphony and the Caâ€" nadian Chamber Ensemble as Principal Clarinet.
