U SOAY, O, Y girls (left) Many athletes from Bluevale and Waterloo collegiates performed well, including midgetâ€"aged competitors who may be new on the scene but appear to be here to stay. © One highlight of the meet was that Bluevale Knights‘ relay teams won four events. Knights finished second overall to the combined effort of St. Mary‘s and St. Jerome‘s high schools. The track and field season continues May 29â€"30 with the allâ€"Ontario championships in Hamilton. See story on page 31. The high school track and field season continued Thursday with the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association meet at Centennial Stadium in Kitchener.
