PAGE 18 â€" WATERLOO CHRONICLE, WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 1987 And it was said. What would you do if God suddenly decided to give you the ultimate test of faith, in the heart of New York city? If they can pull off this singular stunt, it will indeed be considered a behindâ€"theâ€"scenes miracle. Though God‘s Favorite is not works, it draws an amusing premise, as the modernâ€"day tale of the Biblical story of Job, about a man who must choose between the power of the Almighty or the King of Darkness. Joe Benjamin (Brian Otto‘s KWLT debut) is a nice, plain, ordinary ‘joe‘ who‘s suffered and sweated up the executive ladder. He has a spacious, luxurious surrounding, swimming pools, priceless paintings. In short, he‘s filthy rich. Benjamin has a beautiful wife and three kids, and a cushy existence, but money to Benjamin is not the root of ail _ He is a man of ‘quality‘, devout in his faith with Him. 14 PRINCESS ST.
