News digest Beta Sigma Phi Daffodil Day Six thousand daffodils will be up for sale this weekend in K-W when the K-W Beta Sigma Phi Sorority holds its annual Daffodil Day to raise money for the Cancer Soci- ety. Sorority members will be in most of the Twin Cities' malls Friday, Apr. 4 from 6: 30-8: 30 p.m. and Saturday, Apr. 5, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. selling the flowers for $2.50 a bunch. By raising the necessary funds through community bingos and Christmas tree sales, the Waterloo Jaycees were able to donate $2,000 to the K-W Hospital Building Fund.
