Treat Yourself offers something for everyone Wendy McCreary Chronicle Staff There are richly-glazed ceramic vases, delicate acrylic flowers, modern sculptures from Toronto and exquisite glass eggs hand-rolled in gold. "It's a place that has something for everybody," says Marion Self, owner of Treat Yourself. Much of it is Canadian made but does stock items from different parts of the world. "1t's been compared to Hazelton Lanes in Toronto," says Self. Self is able to supply most anything a customer desires through connections she has with an interior designer friend in Toronto. “I can bring things in that are not everywhere." - - -- -- . _ .__ __t__, .l-,.__-a:..... She took courses in interior decorating, flower arranging and window display. After thinking about it for a number of years, she started having home parties about 2 1/2 years ago to see if there was an interest. She also rented a small space downtown.
