In Saturday‘s game, the Wildcats were the first to score with a fine effort from Chris Meyer and by the end of the first period the teams had traded two goals each. The Whalers then exploded in the second period with four goals followed by a final score in the goalies, Glenn Cressman and Jason Peplow protected their net well to keep the Wildcat‘s off the scoreboard in the final two periods.
