McKerrow nets winner in possible series preview W Richard O'Brien Chronicle Staff With playoffs approaching, Waterloo Sisklns and Owen Sound Greys set out to prove something Sunday night at the Waterloo arena and both teams were partially successful. Siskins needed a goal by John McKerrow with just 42 seconds left in a 10-minute sudden-death overtime period to claim the victory in Midwes- tern Junior B Hockey League action. Greys proved they 'can beat Siskins without actually doing so and Siskins proved they can beat the Greys but weren't too convincing about it. Before that, Greys had forced overtime with a late goal after Siskins had failed to score on eight minutes of power play. Then ln overtime, Siskin goalie Don Einwechter made an excellent save on Tony Fletcher's breakaway before McKerrow scored. Siskin coach Gerry Harrigan and Greys' coach Jim Roberts both said they would like to meet each other in a playoftseries.
