Operating their outstanding Hallowe‘en atâ€" traction, conceived and produced through imagâ€" inative meeting of their minds, is naturally becoming more difficult for the foursome as they strive to maintain patrons‘ interest through original ideas. But this is production No. 3, and once again., the lads have succeeded with flying colors in creating a spectacular show for youngsters â€" of any age. "We wanted to be different this year so everyone wouldn‘t say ‘that‘s the same as last year‘," pointed out 13â€"yearâ€"old Colin Lackner, whose parents at 57 Ashton in the Westmount area have graciously allowed half their house to be dedicated to haunts again. ‘"We‘re finding it a lot easier this time because we don‘t have to move around so much to the different areas." La;;'lzl-le";_;;lâ€"ay:s the role of Dr. Blackstone, who, as showgoers this Saturday will see, has suffered various misfortunes. Peter Swann Jim Legge, 13. as Dr. Millstein once again expertly plays the ghoulish tour director. Stephen Whitney, 12, as the Bat, keeps you looking over your shoulder at times (if you dare., that is) and Eric Farquhar, 12 is a big addition to the show this year as the Wicked Wizard. Matthew Wildman, 14, will take care of the garage, alive with games, prizes and food â€" including those jelly eyeballs which once again will be offered for a nickel apiece, as wild the popcorn, drinks and games. The tour itself costs a quarter and is worth every penny â€" especially since the youngsters who have given so much of their time to make the show so super, will be earmarking all proceeds to the Kâ€"W Rotary Children‘s Centre.
