Siskins‘ momentum was halted through the second period when Cullitons enjoyed a twoâ€"man advanâ€" tage for a minute and 21 seconds. James put on a show killing off the first of the penalties, but Mark Maue then beat goalie Don Einâ€" wechter to put Cullitons on the scoresheet. It appeared Siskins would enjoy a prolonged man advantage to start the third period after Cullitons‘ Glenn Patterson was nabbed for a fighting major and double minor while Dennis Brox, his reluctant opponent, took only a twoâ€"minute penalty.
