A nutrition workshop for senior citizens will be held Tuesday, March 25 at the Adult Recreation Centre, Wa- terloo, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The workshop will include 'survival in the supermarket - coping with today‘s food prices" and will also include discussions and activities re- lated to food budgeting, recipes for inexpensive meals and free publications. That figure represents an increase of 13 per cent over the 1978 figures. Individual annuity sales of $5.1- million topped sales of ISN, and both those years were double the sales figures for wrt. 1n the group marketing division, new life insurance premiums of nomiilion represented a 34 per cent increase over 1978 while accident and sickness sales of $11.9-million (first year premium is showed a "re- markable 71 per cent increase." Total income for Dominion Life was up over 14 per cent last year with a figure of $231.4-million. Life in- surance premiums totalled M6.6-miilion, up 11 per cent, while annuity premiums increased five per cent for a total of $76.1-miuion. One major contributor to the eompany's good finan- cial report for 1979 was a major increase in gross in- vestment income, which came to $68.2-mi11ion. Along with the positive financial picture for 1979, Acheson said the company's policy-holder dividend scale increased in January of this year. He hopes that measure will further improve companies. .
