ESSAYS AND POEM CONTEST If you have any children attending 7th or 8th Grade or Senior High School, why not have them complete an essay or poem and have them compete for the many valuable prizes donated by the Legion. BURSARIES: Cars will be needed on November 4, 5, 6 to transport our canvassers to and from their various locations. Also additional Comrades to canvass the local hotels and other areas. Each envelope will contain a coin card, along with several poppies. Please forward your coin cards with your contributions to our Branch, either by mail or in person as soon as possible. All donations of $2.00 and over are entitled to a receipt for income tax purposes. A note of interest Comrades, the Householders cards are packaged for mailing by our retarded children. They start several months ahead to fulfill the job. They are reâ€"imbursed for their work by K. W. Poppy Fund. Canvassing of Business establishments and shopping centres will be done by your Ladies Auxiliary. The Ladies Auxiliary are invaluable and certainly highly appreciatâ€" ed for all the work they do to make our campaign a great success.
