During the week, there were different events such as a scavenger hunt. First prize was a free year book and second prize a fee card. St. Agnes CWL There was also a jello- eating contest. The vic- St. Agnes Catholic Wom- en's League kicked off its fall session last Wednes- day with a potluck supper. Guest speaker was Prof. Liang Wei from the Uni- versity of Waterloo. His topic was acupuncture. plans a retreat Folk dance class planned Winter clothing is being collected during the months of September and October under the direction of Mrs. Joan Farwell for the lea- gue's mission at Attawa- piskat in Northern On- tario. On September 19, the K-W International Folk Dance Group will begin holding classes every Sunday eve- ning for people who are interested in learning and dancing world famous folk dances. Mrs. Brenda Willis, is the instructor. The classes will be held at 310 Charles Street East. across from Cameron Heights, every Sunday 730 p.m, to 1030 pm.
