The water is not being pumped into the water mains but back into the river. Other sites where the students conducted experi- ments included Freeport. Four Wells and Conestogo. Mr. Gevaert said that drill sites have been completed at the Four Wells site and at a site north of Breslau. He hopes to drill at two more sttes near the Donn Golf Course, By checking the radioac- tivity of the water, the stu- dents can determine how long it has been out of the ground. Under normal con- ditions it should only take two to three days to get the river water to the well. Mr. Greenhouse believes that the well at Woolner's Flats was pumping water from the water table for quite a long period of time.
