Both Mr. Sherk and Mr. Harris have long been in- volved with the teaching of mathematics in the On- tario secondary school sys- Mr. Sherk. who married the former Norma Snider in IMI, has five children: four of these are currently involved in the teaching profession and the fifth expects to become a ma- thematics and physics teach- Er in September. ..In addition to acquiring a reputation for teaching excellence. Mr. Sherk has contributed to education in Ontario in many ways. For five years tduring the sixties, he served as prin- cipal of the Scarborough summer school.
