When it was launched. in 1963, 350 enâ€" trants in 21 schools particiâ€" pated and all schools were in Ontario. The Canadian and provinâ€" cial winners will be invited to attend a week long semiâ€" nar on the UW campus, June 1319. They will participate in mathematics and comâ€" puter science sessions, as well as in recreational actiâ€" vities. The top student, Mr. Gellman. will receive a $100 prize from the Mutual Life Assurance _ Company _ of Canada, Waterloo. The top student in each province and the runnerâ€"up student in Mr. Gellman‘s province (Manitoba) will receive $50. The contest consists of 26 questions. Students got 60 minutes in which to answer them.
