Three honorary degrees will be «onferred at the convocation, held in the university‘s Theatre Auditorium. They are Kenneth W. Taylor, #former deputy minister of finâ€" ance and now professor of ecâ€" enomics at McMaster University, Hamilton; and Rev. John V. Mills, chairman of the Toronto Board of Education and former viceâ€"cbairman of the Waterloo Public School Board. Mr. Taylor will deliver the convocation adâ€" dress. _ Two other men will receive Rkonorary Doctor of Laws deâ€" grees. Dr. Otto W. Heick, a professor ef systematic theology at Watâ€" erloo0 Lutheran Seminary since 1949, will receive an honorary Doctor of Letters degree. He also 3s assuming the rank of profesâ€" sor emeritus, one of the few to be honored with this distinction since the university was founded im 1911. There now are more than 100 students in the university‘s threeâ€" year science program. There are more than 2,100 fullâ€"time underâ€" graduate students, pursuing studâ€" ies in science, arts, business ad ministration.
