On Aug. 14th, Miss Marion Sterling of â€" Brantford entertained at a miscellaneous shower in her honor and on Aug. 20th, Mrs. J. Batsone was hostess at a cup and saucer shower at her home, 25 Melville St., Galt. On Aug. 23rd the Grand River Club of the Deaf presented Miss Hallman with a table lamp, end table and a framed picture, the event taking the form of a picnic at Grand River Park. The New Dundee MS.
